Recent History
I began my career in the design industry in 2019, working as an intern at my first studio, while completing my studies at Massey University. During this time, I progressed into a part-time junior designer role before graduating in 2020 with a degree in Spatial Design. Following graduation, I stepped into a full-time role as a Graduate Interior Designer at my second studio, and steadily grew within the practice moving into a Junior Designer position, and eventually becoming an Intermediate Interior Designer in 2023.
The past year, however, has taken a different shape. In mid-2024, I was presented with a series of incredible opportunities starting with sailing across the Pacific for several months, which then led to hospitality and tourism roles in locations around the world. I made the conscious decision to pause my design career to fully embrace these once-in-a-lifetime experiences. It’s a choice I stand by with full confidence, as this year has been filled with inspiration, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of people and place.
Now based in the UK and working in hospitality, I’m actively seeking a new opportunity within the spatial, experience, and interior design industry ready to bring fresh perspective, energy, and a broadened worldview to my next role.
